Dear Lailah...

Oh yes, that is her name by the way ::smiles:: To my baby girl, I thought I might write to you before I get to meet you, and perhaps I should do this often from here on out considering time is ticking fast and a WHOLE LOT IS GOING ON; I will no doubt have a lot to share.  Well…let’s start with, your father and I are getting so excited to meet you!  Actually, truth be told…Daddy isn’t going to be too excited until you pop out…but no hard feelings, you will TOTALLY understand in about 15 years how he operates. ::hehe::  I know that when you arrive I’m going have to fight him to take you out of his arms, he’s going to be the best dad EVER. I’m so excited to experience his growth through your growth, it will be beautiful…wow. (I’m listening to Layla – by Erik Clapton…just FYI…I listen to it often, it will be interesting to see if you love it or hate it!)  So…tomorrow marks a week since we decided that we want to raise you back home in Napa.  Today was entirely too stressful for me, I literally sat on the phone ALLLLLL DAAYYYY LOONNNGGG , and on the computer.  I was trying to figure out income, insurance (health, vehicle, renters), switching Kaisers, (I don’t know how many times I had to repeat the “patients full name, address and telephone number” ugh.)  Thankfully God has blessed us with proactive family and friends and they are looking at houses and properties for us in Napa, while we’re hear counting down the days.  Your Grandma looked at several places today, and we think we found a winner!!!!  I will have to work a little extra, but not too much, I don’t want to leave you and pass you around from house to house.  Maybe I’m selfish, but I want to be the one that you are with all the time.  So your Nana decided that she would settle for getting several massages a month from me  to cover the extra rent we would need to have this great 3 bedroom in downtown…I realllly had to pull her leg for that one. HAHA  Hopefully we can get it.  THERE ARE FRUIT TREES IN THE BACK!!!! :) I’ve always wanted fruit trees at my home. :)  It looks adorable from all the pictures, as far as I can tell.  We should know in the next couple of days I hope, as to where we will be in 15 days! So let’s see, I am 33 weeks 6 days…40.5” around…I don’t even care to touch the scale :D and you are crazy strong!  Your head is down (GOOD JOB!) and so your butt is always sticking out (natural hip-hopper, haha)  I pushed really hard back at your protruding bum, and you retracted and then booty bumped me. :)  I love feeling you move.  Oh! And let me thank you for not tearing my body up too bad!  I took maternity photos last week, and everyone loves them…you’ve kept your mommy kinda cute! :D  We will see what kind of damage you have in store for this body in the next 6 weeks.  SIX WEEKS!!!!!! And you could come early?!?  I hope I can get moved in before you come, so we can bring you home to a nice orderly and peaceful home. 6 weeks…::sigh:: I have a breastfeeding class tomorrow! Find out how to work these jugs of mine…thank you for those stretch marks by the way…you better hope these tata’s maintain a little bit of this perkiness you have caused ::wink:: AND Makayla and I are scheduled for a Newborn Care class in July.  I can’t wait for you to meet her little boy Koa…quite frankly I can’t wait to meet him either; he’s due the same day as you.  At my baby shower, Makayla and I saw each other for the first time since we’ve been pregnant and we put you two together and you BOTH KICKED AT THE SAME TIME AND SPOT! IT was love at first bump! Haha You will be life long friends! Makayla says you will get married, your Grandpa told her, “Well, Grandpa holds interviews, so raise him right!” HAHA Grandpa Terry…he’s a funny one!  Well I better run, I’ve got to do some more essential planning before bed.  These next 2 weeks are going to be intense, and I plan on working up to the day before we move.  I might be crazy. Yes. Yes I know.  Gotta make the moneys for you though, little bo! Love, Your mother
