That also translates to: 30 Weeks Along 210 Days Completed 75.0% Through 70 Days Remaining And only 49 days till she's considered full term! (That's July 9th...come as early as you'd like from that point on, little one.) The countdown begins TODAY ladies and gents! T-MINUS 10 weeks! Wow. All day long my thoughts are consumed with just WHEN and HOW the day will go down that the Lord brings our baby into the world. I have run over all the different scenarios in my head a million times. I do feel a bit more comfortable about the whole water breaking thing. Turns out it will RARELY happen while shoppin' in Target. When the baby is in the head down position, their head creates a suction at your cervix which would make for more of a "trickle" if your water in fact, DID break. So...IN OTHER WORDS...not necessarily a "CLEAN UP ON AISLE 5!" type situation. Thank God! I do hope, however, that I go into labor with my husband at home. Three nights a week he doesn't get home till about 12:30AM, and two days he's 8-4PM. PLEASE BE HOME, JORDAN! k. thanx. I must say, I'm absolutely fascinated with the basic reality of it all, now. The fact that JORDAN AND I CREATED HER! She's 50% me...50% him. She's INSIDE MY BELLY!?! It sounds stupid, but its like a revelation all of a sudden. I simply can NOT wait to hold her in my arms and have her stare up at us. I also keep thinking about just how beautiful it will be to see Jordan holding his daughter. I've never seen him with babies, but I know that he is going to make an incredible Father. I've been INCREDIBLY tired lately...by 9PM I could hit the sack, but I know I'll sleep extra long, and be MORE tired for over sleeping. No good when you are still massaging people and giving facials all day long. Let's just say that I also have a countdown for the days that I have left at work, too! :D 25 days of massaging left (June 15) and 55 days of work left (July 15) that is the PLAN, at least. With 10 weeks left of growing to do, I can only wonder if I will be able to make that 500 mile commute up to 38 weeks along. :-/ I think every week I should update the blog now, since the growth may be rapid. HAHA I'm measuring 39.25" around the belly button. That's a quarter inch in 2 weeks. "They" say the baby is going to gain 1/2 a lb. per week from here on out, and I will gain about 1lb. per week. We'll see about that. :D Before I leave you with some pictures, I just want to say thank you to everyone who has been blessing me with gifts already! I can't express what it means to me, I'm not the best "receiver of gifts" but I do appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Alright, gonna go...she kicks SO MUCH NOW ITS UNREAL. I finally was able to detect her heartbeat with an at home Doppler I bought a long time ago...it is quite soothing to listen to. :D I love my baby girl. Word of wisdom for the week: If you've been invited to something...RSVP...it's much appreciated. A pillow, dresses she'll either miss wearing or fit into by next summer and a couple blankets (only one here) along with some other things from a very sweet client of mine! Cute Shoes! Two used, but just need to be washed. From my client, too. An in-bed, co-sleeper. I laid a dress in it so you could see how it works if you were unfamiliar with it. I don't necessarily want her sleeping in bed with us, I registerd for a co-sleeper that goes next to the bed that I really love...but this is brilliant for when we are anywhere else or even on the couch, if I want to lay her down and be confident that she isn't going to roll over or off of whatever it is she's on. Brand new, from my client as well. I realize that this dress makes me look huge in the back...I'm not I swear. LOL "Would you like some water retention with that baby....?" "Nah!" :D I STILL HAVE A CHIN AND ANKLES!!!! :DMy Favorite. ![]() | |
