5 days late? Or shall we call it...displaying leadership qualities...LOL

Well I was hoping that my next post would be an exciting TAKE A LOOK AT MY LITTLE GIRL type post...however...this is more of a....GRRRRRRRRRRRRR post. More like...I think all my friends who are due AFTER me, are going to have their kids BEFORE me. My girlfriend Brenda just had her little girl today at 12:33pm 5 days early (she was due on the 9th) and my friend who is due on the 11th, already went into the hospital for false labor pains and difficulty breathing. Here I am, happy as a little mud turtle..well...my kid atleast, and it seems that she's only climbing AWAY from the birth canal?! Or...pulling a Benjamin Button and regressing in age ready to turn back into an embryo and *POOF* disappear. I KNOW I KNOW! It's only 5 days, but shheeessshhHH!!!! I have an appointment on Friday morning at 8:30AM. I will get an ultrasound to check fluid levels, and a fetal stress test to see how Lailah is holding up in there. According to my girlfriend Makayla (due the same days as me) who had an appointment this morning, her fluids are fine, AND I just got word that she is dilated another 1/2cm in a little over 3 hours (she had appointment this morning and a fetal monitoring this afternoon) and she is having contractions 5 1/2 minutes apart. My kid is never coming. LOL

Anyway, I have quite a few people predicting that TOMORROW IS THE DAY! August 5th. I'm up for it :D. For now, I guess I have to wait and take it easy. I got really light headed today and was advised to lay down on my side and drink plenty of water, I finally fell asleep and over 1.5 hours later woke up and was finally ok. But even sitting here typing this to you, I am getting kind of dizzy again. Oye. Well, I better be off...the next time you see a post there WILL be a picture of my little baby. And I simply CAN NOT wait!
